Cave Creek is a town in Maricopa County, Arizona. It was settled by soldiers from nearby Fort McDowell in 1870 and was named for the cave next to the creek that the town was founded on. Some famous people have called Cave Creek their home, including Emmy Award winner Dee Dee Wood.

Cave Creek Unified School District – Cave Creek Unified School District was organized in 1886 with its first teacher being William Bailey. Cave Creek Regional Park – Cave Creek Regional Park rests in the upper Sonoran Desert and offers a huge trail system for hikers and equestrians alike. The park offers guided tours of historical sites within the park, which mainly focuses on the gold miners of the 1870s.
